Then I saw your photo and was just blown away.Martihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03559847090671071342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3809056835301186628.post-29500720937622440772011-06-07T14:38:25.471-05:002011-06-07T14:38:25.471-05:00What can I say, except, Magnificent!!!, Janie.I cl...What can I say, except, Magnificent!!!, Janie.I clicked on them and was so enthralled.I too was out taking photos today and basking in This great God that created everything.
I am hoping one day to be able to purchase a book of photography by you. I'm sure I can'...Oh, who can make a flower?
I'm sure I can't, can you?
O who can make a flower?
No one but God, it's true!
-------------------
The first song I ever remember singing and I learned it from my Mom. She also loved beautiful flowers.

I think it is a wonderful thing when we can work hand in hand with God to bring about something worthwhile. And, that is what I see you doing with these pics. We look at the flowers as we walk by and think they are pretty and smell nice. But, when you photograph one, you begin to experience and appreciate the intricacies of the bloom. It really causes you to stop and look and appreciate. I think Our Father is pleased with how you honor His creation.

(My fav is the flame in the iris)Tonjahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08699862913139313405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3809056835301186628.post-74092147232676959182011-06-07T08:00:17.410-05:002011-06-07T08:00:17.410-05:00And that's my thought when I see your images, ...And that's my thought when I see your images, as well. How very fortunate we are---we of the Way Out Here---to be able to gaze into the flaming heart of a flower hundreds of miles away, or look upon a vista in a place we'll never set our feet.

I've just looked this morning on the ocean view from a mountain in Maine---a picture I'd requested from Jeanne of Backyard Neighbor, who is spending a month traveling there.

Places we've longed to see, things and places we've never heard of---those are right here, through the lenses and words and sharing of friends and strangers---like a treasure box of bright images ready to hand.

And the friends we acquire, the times we'll remember, the sights we see---How Great Thou Art, indeed.RachelDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11204947567574886675noreply@blogger.com
