This is Day One of our family vacation. We'll spend most of today traveling from Mississippi, to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, where we will be spending next week.  I hope to get out and explore with my camera some, but I'm sure I'll be torn between doing that and staying at the cabin and playing with our seven-year-old granddaughter Avery Grace and her soon-to-be-11-months-old little brother Maddox. Either way, hopefully, I will capture some pictures to share and have some stories to tell. 'Til then ... I hope you have a pleasant week and can stay cool, wherever you are. |

Blessings for your trip! You should enjoy some cooler weather up there! Most any weather beats this Mississippi heat and humidity.

I am planning on traveling along the Blue Ridge Park way in the fall, and then on to explore southeastern Tennessee and Smokey Mountain National Park.
I know you are going to have a great vacation Janie, and will have some beautiful scenery to photograph! Have a very safe and restful time!
