A friend gave us these tomatoes the other day, and they were so beautiful, I just had to get a picture of them.
I'm sure they will be the last real tomatoes we get this year, and they are even more delicious than they look in the picture.
As the late Lewis Grizzard, one of my favorite southern writers, once said, “It's difficult to think anything but pleasant thoughts while eating a homegrown tomato.”
