Life is Just a Bowl of ... Peaches ?

One of the best things about summertime is fresh, sweet, and juicy Georgia peaches, and these looked so pretty when I put them in my grandmother's little mixing bowl that I just had to share them with you.

I also want to share the little table they're sitting on. I bought it for $2.00 at a yard sale Saturday and just love it.

I bought this rusty old candle stand at the yard sale, too, for just $2.00! I'm going to use it as a plant stand somewhere in my yard.

Hope your day is filled with sunshine and smiling faces!

Hi Janie! I just asked my husband yesterday if the peaches were out yet! I Love them. These look sooo good. Wow what great finds and I want both of them!lol Can't wait to see where you use them! I really need to go to yard sales. I know I am missing some really good things. Have a great day - Jeannette (do I see a peach pie in your future or maybe a crisp!!!)

I love the pics of your bargains!
It never ceases to amaze me the 'stuff' folks will sell.

I see you have changed the background of your blog again. It really looks nice.

I need to learn to do that!

Hi Janie

We usually go to Illinois for Calhoun County peaches, this time of year. Not sure we can get there with the Mississippi in flood. The ferries are closed. May have to try the bridge and see what happens. I love fresh homegrown peaches!

Your photos are gorgeous. The white table with bowl of peaches is perfection. I'm inspired!

Have a wonderful week!

I just got my first White peach of the season! Yum! Up here in Cincinnati we get what are called bathtub peaches and they are so juicy. Your photography is beautiful and so are your pieces. Thanks for the inspiration!

I have collected and saved my favorite decorating ideas in a binder for YEARS. That picture of the blue bowl with the peaches is magazine worthy, and if it WERE in a magazine, I would clip it and put it in my binder! Timeless.ksarra(RMS)
