I didn't turn on the TV yesterday so I didn't even realize he had passed away. How sad!

I know...I just heard this when I turned my computer on this a.m. That makes me sad! Paul was a legend in Hollywood.

I am so sad about this. He closely resembled my grandpa--who passed when I was 13. What a handsome, distinguished fellow.

I have a post for him tomorrow...I'm sure there will be many posts about his passing.
I really enjoyed Mr.Newman during his movie career..and admired him, as well.
love, bj

There goes another one of the good guys....One thing I always liked about him was he was never in any scandals or out womanizing...He had a great marriage to Joanne Woodward and raised a happy family. I sure hope his company continues to make my favorite Sockaroni Spaghetti Sauce...Bo

What a beautiful specimen of a man, a humanitarian, a husband, an actor. I will never forget my first visceral reaction to "Cool Hand Luke" many moons ago. He will be missed. One of the good guys.

I know so sad huh, I LOVED him. Did you ever see The Verdict? He should have won the Oscar for that. I so enjoyed that movie.

My Dad had the same eyes.

You're quite right he will be missed.

Loved him. I'm trying to remember the first time I saw him. I think it might have been Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. It was love at first sight for me. I watch that movie every chance I get.

He was not only a wonderful actor, but an extra special human being!

Hi Janie! I felt bad too when I heard the news. He always impressed me as being a really nice guy and I never heard a negative thing about him in all his years as a "legend"! Such a shame; I wish more celebrities of today had the same class this man did!!!! My best wishes to his family. Sincerely, Jeannette
