Sunday Lagniappe

I have always wanted to photograph bluebirds, and was delighted to capture this pair at my parents' house over the weekend. I think the mama bird was tired of having her picture taken. Just look at her little "frowny" face! And then the daddy bird decided to play a little game of Hide and Seek ... I didn't want to upset them, so I let them get back to their nest-building. Perhaps I can go back and see their babies soon!
