This is a fantastic photo. Fall has always been my favorite time of the year just because of scenes such as this. Thanks for posting it.
Yes. Promises. And yours, as well, for the "feel of Fall" was an absolute harbinger of the sweet holidays. My birthday around Labor was always a turn in the air, somehow---the beginning of several celebrations, as a build-up to Christmas and the New Year.
Here I am, anticipating it all, and surrounded by the makings of a little tea party on Sunday. Much to do, and much of the joy is in the contemplation and meditation of the tasks.
I LOVE this picture, and I'm so glad you used your ZOOM---a whole parable of beauty and bad in one small photo.
I can almost smell Fall in the air when looking at your picture of the tree..
The weatherman said that we're going to get some "Fall-feeling" weather on Sunday.. I just can't wait.. I've even ready for a snow flake or two. :O)
Have a lovely weekend.
Charlotte
I love this! It looks like a painting by one of the old masters!
I also love the promise of Fall! Isn't it wonderful that God gave us the 4 seasons??? I'm always eager for the next one. Beautiful!
