Oh, Janie! How wonderful to see your light pop up on the sidebar! And that delightful rose as it swells and buds and lives its days in a festival of pale pink.
This is such a beautiful thought, as well, for we have the caring of our little ones, shaping their growth, nourishing the soil that they draw strength and sustenance from, and helping them find the sun or shade or new path up the trellis that they need.
I'm in a bit of a PINK surfeit, myself, as we're renovating the downstairs kitchen, and the number of paint swatches and chips and brush-strokes of samples on the kitchen wall has grown with the weeks of preparation. There are four swipes in contention, right now, for the dollhouse kitchen I've dreamt of for fifty years, and for the life of me, I cannot see a shade or shadow's difference. No debate between blush and bashful, this time. And the silly thing is, I'd be thrilled with a pure Pepto-Bismol pink!
I've missed you, and am so glad to see your beautiful roses, anytime.
