Sweet Olive -- Heaven-Scent

If I had to name my favorite landscaping plant, it would be Sweet Olive (Osmanthus Fragrans).

We have several of them planted around our house, and I wish my camera could capture their sweet perfume along with their delicate blossoms. Everytime we walk outside, we're surrounded by its heavenly scent.

Here are a few close up pictures of the little clusters of flowers (as you can tell, I'm still working on my macro photography skills) ...

I noticed that my blogging friend Molly featured a post last week about her orange Sweet Olive plant. I didn't realize that there are orange ones, and was glad I saw Molly's. Molly lives in Mississippi, too, and is a very talented painter. I think you would enjoy her sweet "Country Memories" blog.
