Baby Blues

I'd like to thank Smiling Sally, our gracious Blue Monday hostess, for giving us the opportunity to share something blue.

For this second Blue Monday in February, I'd like to present some of the most famous "baby blues" in the world ... and the first ones that come to mind are those of "Ole Blue Eyes" himself, Frank Sinatra.

And then comes my most favorite blue-eyed guy of all time, Mr. Paul Newman, whose baby blues melted many a heart in his time. I miss him, don't you?

One of Paula Deen's most striking features, besides
her southern accent, is her baby blues ...

And I'm sure we all loved Lucy's big blue eyes ...

Sir Anthony Hopkins is another one of my favorite blue-eyed guys.

And then there's Rob Lowe ...

And Reese Witherspoon ...

Mel Gibson ...

Steve McQueen, who died way before his time ...

Leonardo DiCaprio

John Travolta

Betty White

Everybody's sweetheart, Doris Day

Cameron Diaz

Elizabeth Taylor

And last, but not least, if it had been raining in Florida last night, these famous blue eyes would have been "cryin' in the rain."

Peyton Manning

I hope you have a great Blue Monday. Be sure and visit Sally to see pictures of her elegant new home, with its subtle touches of blue. Thank you, Sally, for taking time out from your decorating to host our Blue Mondays.

I have three daughters, one with green eyes, one with brown eyes and one with blue eyes. My blue eyed daughter has dark hair. Dark hair and blue eyes is a striking combination.

Beautiful examples of blue, Janie!

I'm planning our Natchez Trace road trip, this morning. It includes a night at the Gaylord Opryland. Do you suppose the azaleas will be in bloom, in the Nashville area, the second week of April?

Hi Janie,
I love blue eyes! Both my kids, and my grandkids have big blue eyes!

Love your collection of blue eyed beauties!

I'm a big Payton Manning fan, but not this time! I wanted the Saints to win-it just seemed to be the right time for them! :)
