If Not Spring, Then Bring on the SNOW !

I've been wishing and pining and decorating the inside of our house for SPRING. But outside, it's been very dreary and cold and damp and so NOT spring-like.

And now, the weatherman is saying: Winter Storm Warning!

Issued by The National Weather Service

WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 2 PM CST FRIDAY.

SNOW WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE AREA DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. SNOWFALL RATES WILL STEADILY INCREASE DURING THE EVENING WITH HEAVY SNOW DEVELOPING OVERNIGHT.

TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM 2 TO 4 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL RESULT IN DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS. THE HEAVY, WET NATURE OF THE SNOW WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BRING DOWN TREE LIMBS AND POWER LINES. EVERYONE IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD TAKE THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO PREPARE FOR MAJOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY.

We had a false alarm back in January, but this time it looks like we are really going to get some SNOW ... just how much remains to be seen.

Our granddaughter Avery is staying with us this week, so this may be her first time to build a snowman, or perhaps a "Snow Princess." I don't know who's more excited, Avery or her grandparents and great-grandparents, who are also here with us.

I'll keep you posted and, hopefully, will have some pictures of our SNOW to share tomorrow.

Hey!

I'd say to take lots and lots of pictures, but that's sort of like preaching to the choir! ;-)

Have fun and be safe...

XO,

Sheila :-)

I still love our snow, even though we've had it on the ground with extra snow falling, for about two weeks. We had snow again this morning. We had lots of windows put in the hearth room, breakfast room and the big bay window in our room, because we love to watch the falling snow.
When we were working, we sort of dreaded driving in it!And J had to work during snow and ice storms, restoring electricity. But still loved it, even then.

Looking forward to your snowy photos!
