Christmas Candy Centerpiece

After several days and many trips to and from the attic, I've finally finished my Christmas decorating (except for our tree, which we will decorate this weekend). I've shared a few vignettes along the way, including:

The Mantel ...

Our Nativity Set ...

And the Dining Room Chandelier.

Today I am featuring a whimsical centerpiece that is sure to light up little ones' eyes. This is one of our granddaughter Avery's favorites.

It's an arrangement of old glass jars I have collected through the years, filled with candy canes, gumdrops, Hershey Kisses, and peppermints.

It sits on our breakfast table, and is one of our granddaughter Avery's favorite decorations ... not to mention a temptation for several grown-ups I know and love.

I love your candy arrangement, I remember it from last year..lol..I kinda borrowed it from you to do this year, just haven't got the candy in them yet.
Hope you have a great day.

Oh, how I LOVE this arrangement---all the joys of childhood---sweets, candlelight anticipation, all that SUGAR and the colors of their favorite season.

I DO know about the temptations, as the level of jar of kisses on the sitting-room window-ledge has dwindled considerably since the weekend. But SOME wise soul at your house put them in the slenderest jar, so that big hands can get only one, and little fingers can't reach far.

Wise, AND beautiful.

I love it! Bet that is something she will long remember! Everything looks so pretty, I bet when you walk into your home, you feel enveloped by the Christmas Spirit! Enjoy the Season!

Oh, I am with Avery on this one! I have such a sweet tooth, this would be hard to resist. So pretty in the jars. Sorta takes me back to my childhood when we looked forward to finding hard candy in our stockings on Christmas morning.
