Whine Time

I think I have "blogger's block." I sit and stare at a blank screen, mesmerized by the blinking cursor, but no words of wisdom — or any other kind, for that matter — come to mind.

I search my picture files, thinking surely I can find something to inspire me, but even my pictures don't perk me up.

It's 87 degrees outside, and it's only April.

What happened to Spring?

There's one more picture I want to share ...

And that one makes me ashamed of whining about little things like having blogger's block and the weather being so warm, when thousands of people whose lives, along with their homes, were turned upside down by the recent storms that swept the country. My heart and prayers go out to them, and I will be counting my blessings today, instead of whining.

I am in total sympathy..it was 90 here yesterday, and will be today again...summer in the South, and it always happens. I have a "NO WHINING" sign in my bathroom to remind myself every single day to be grateful, and then...doggone it, I still find myself whining!

And SO WILL I!!! I'm wading damp carpet, and stayed up til 2 being sure all the threatening RED areas had passed over all our Lovies.
We were under WARNING for all the time it took for that great primary-color cloud to pass from St. Louis clear across us.

Put that little nothing up against all the people in distress and homeless and mourning, and it's popcorn.

I'm glad you're all safe and well, and hope that your weather will be more pleasant today.

You could just do the old finger-on-the-page trick, and close your eyes, go to your immense photo albums, and click on about ten, and just put them up.

They all speak for themselves, if you're not wordy right now. Your work stands alone, each and every image, and speaks volumes.
