 I am going to be taking a break for a few days to be with my parents as my dad prepares for colon cancer surgery scheduled for this Wednesday, January 18th. Daddy is 87 years old, but is in remarkably good health otherwise, and his doctor feels confident that he will tolerate the surgery well. His faith is strong and he is one of the most positive people I've ever known, which is half the battle. God has taken care of Daddy through so many health issues in his life (prostate cancer, brain surgery, two major eye surgeries, to name a few) ... and I know He will be with him and my family through whatever the coming days bring. I will try to post updates, but, in the meantime, would you please remember my dad in your prayers. Thank you ... Psalm 91:2: I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. |

Janie, I will pray for your Dad and I know that God will take care of him. He knows the Savior and He has promised never to leave us alone.
