Although they were blooming at the time I planted them, they just "sat" there all winter, and never really grew.
I pulled the Pansies up a long time ago, but left the Snapdragons since they were at least green. Over the weekend, the Snapdragons seemed to shoot up overnight, and I couldn't resist capturing them before our warm temperatures take their toll.
Our granddaughter Avery Grace was with us over the weekend, and, of course, I couldn't resist taking some pictures of her, too. She's growing up so fast I can't believe she's going to be six in May!
Every once in a while, I can capture a little of her "baby-ness." I love this picture of her sweet little cheek and sun-lightened hair. I wish that color came in a bottle!
I hope you have a happy Monday to start off your week. It's cloudy here this morning, with thunderstorms forecast for later, but I'm going to take my cameras and go exploring somewhere. Hopefully, I'll have some pictures to share tomorrow.

Avery Grace is darling! She really is growing up, but she will always be your baby, Janie. I know I was for my grandmother all my life into my adult years, and I will be again in Heaven. :-)
I hope and pray that you all stay safe from the storms. I hope we do, too.
XO,
Sheila :-)
Your little Avery Grace is such a doll...love those eyelashes and in the last picture that little "sweet spot" at the nape of the neck. Good for Grandma kisses.
Just perfect for a rainy Monday, which ours IZZZZ. Good thing we got so much done outside yesterday.
I love your chronicle of Avery's changes and stay-the-sames.
And is that an asparagus fern by the little garden sign? It looks just like some a neighbor had in AL, and he'd get me to cook the little tender sprigs for him.
So glad you are getting to enjoy your snapdragons... they are lovely!
And so is your own little "blossom" Avery Grace, who is growing up like the snapdragons..
Thanks for sharing those wonderful shots with us,
Hugs,
Jenni
Can't get over how much Avery Grace has grown! She is adorable!
I haven't tried growing snapdragons, but my pansies are still in the pots and looking okay!
Miss Avery Grace is so adorable, Janie, and you and she are creating so many wonderful memories. How precious.
Snapdragons I adore, and love their sweet fragrance too, as always I am inspired.
Thanks for sharing,
Sue
Love the snapdragons! They always seem so delicate to me, but such pleasing colors!
I love those little wisps of a girl right at the nape of sweet girl's neck. Precious! She is a doll!
PS..I'm trying to catch up and don't want to miss anything!
