Decorating Solution: Sofa Table Magazine Basket

I love decorating magazines, my favorites being Traditional Home, Southern Living, and Country Living. I can't bear to part with most of them, and it doesn't take long for a stack to accumulate on the sofa table in the living room, which is unsightly to me, no matter how neatly they're stacked. Not long ago, I was in a nice furniture store in Jackson, and happened to notice a room display in which there was a sofa with a table in front of it. Not unusual, I know, but what caught my eye was a box holding two stacks of magazines ... and I loved the look. I didn't particularly like the box (or its $68.00 price tag!), but made a mental note to try to find one similar to it. After a couple of weeks of searching, my diligence paid off. And the best part is that I found just what I wanted right here in Vicksburg, and saved $30.00! It's a sturdy woven basket and I love the way it looks on the sofa table my husband built for me as a wedding gift many years ago. Now I can keep more of my magazines out where I can enjoy them, and admire my pretty new basket, too!
