| I love decorating magazines, my favorites being Traditional Home, Southern Living, and Country Living. I can't bear to part with most of them, and it doesn't take long for a stack to accumulate on the sofa table in the living room, which is unsightly to me, no matter how neatly they're stacked.
Not long ago, I was in a nice furniture store in Jackson, and happened to notice a room display in which there was a sofa with a table in front of it. Not unusual, I know, but what caught my eye was a box holding two stacks of magazines ... and I loved the look. I didn't particularly like the box (or its $68.00 price tag!), but made a mental note to try to find one similar to it. After a couple of weeks of searching, my diligence paid off. And the best part is that I found just what I wanted right here in Vicksburg, and saved $30.00!
It's a sturdy woven basket and I love the way it looks on the sofa table my husband built for me as a wedding gift many years ago.
Now I can keep more of my magazines out where I can enjoy them, and admire my pretty new basket, too!

Pretty! I battle with magazines too. Finally got a pretty big basket that they gather in. However, they are getting all bent - and I don't like that. Your idea is much better and neater.
I'm so glad you put some pictures of your gorgeous home up on the top. I've always thought you should show it off more! You have such a pretty style.

That's one great basket, Janie! I need one of those. Unfortunatley, I have a huge one that sits on the floor that's filled to capacity. AND, they have overflowed from that onto the floor in front. LOL! I'm hopeless!

This is a great idea! I love my magzines, too. I am a collector of old boxes and I use them to store mine in...but yours is more aesthetically pleasing!
