Welcome to my last "Outdoor Wednesday" post for February. Hopefully, in the coming weeks our outdoor posts will be filled with signs of Spring making its appearance.
I'd like to thank Susan at A Southern Daydreamer, for taking the time to host our "Outdoor Wednesdays," and hope you will visit Susan to see photos of her beautiful outdoors in Georgia, as well as everyone else's contributions.
I've been inspired by several unseasonably warm days here in Vicksburg, and today I decided it was time to hang my "Spring Wreath" on the porch door leading into our breakfast area. I made the wreath last spring and added a few sprigs of new greenery to it today before hanging it.
(I discovered that taking pictures of something hanging on glass is a challenge, but if you click on the photos to enlarge them, it may help!)
I'm looking forward to visiting your outdoors today, and hope they are filled with sunshine and God's promise of Spring being right around the corner.

Your wreath is perfect! I love the way the vine goes up the hanger. I need to do something welcoming to my porch. Right now there are leaves out there.
Beautiful post Janie. You've inspired me to put together a wreath for the front door!
PS, we are considering a little road trip....Mississippi is on our wish list!
Love, love, love your wreath!!! The plants look real!

The wreath is beautiful. I just love it.
Good morning Janie...When I see something as pretty as your wreath, I wonder if I could do that...then I talk myself out of trying...it is so pretty & fits your door perfectly! ;-) Bo
Hello Janie,
I so loved the wreaths, and now I am inspired to do something with my doors, I have been putting it off long enough. Thanks for the inspiration Janie, yours are very unique and beautiful!!!
Blessings,
Sue
Just beautiful! What a lovely welcome to your home. Thanks for sharing this hint of spring. Kathy
Janie, I love this picture of your door! And that wreath is just the neatest! I also love your Carolina Jasmine (ours took a beating this year with the cold we got).
Have been running like a crazy person, and I slowed down yesterday just long enough to get pictures for today. It helped. LOL!
Sending much love your way...
XO,
Sheila :-)
Hi Janie! That wreath is so pretty. I love the birdhouses on it. The reflections on the glass are fun, too :0)
Beautiful photos ...
Very pretty and I really like the little yellow flower..I think yellow is my favorite flower color :) Happy OW!
Hi Janie, your spring wreath is lovely. I did enlarge it to see the detail. Now I think spring will come when she sees that work of art. Nice job Janie.
Hugs...Jeanne
What a beautiful wreath! I love the gardening implements you added. Every time I put a wreath on our door this time of year a bird builds a nest in it. I don't mind except once the little mother flew into our living room and it was traumatic for all who were involved.
I never thought about it being our last post for Feb. Oh my.
Your spring wreath beautiful.
Happy Last OW

Your spring wreathe is perfect. I did click on it and loved the bird houses and birds in the nest. it looks so springy.
Our last bit of snow is about melted and I too wish for early signs of spring here.
Maybe I will make a new spring wreathe while I am waiting:)

I found your blog via Between Naps on the Porch. I grew up in V'burg and your post on flags caught my attention. Loved seeing some old familiar places.
I love the look of your wreath because it is so free form in style. The little garden tool ornaments are cute, too. I have added you as a blog I am following.
wonderful wreath. Love the mini watering can and birdhouse.
It gets me in the mood for spring DESPITE the fact that it snowed yesterday in Iowa!
Oh, my goodness that is gorgeous!!! I love the movement of it!! It certainly does look real if it isn't !! Really, it isn't real????
