Photo Potpourri

Just a few "odds and ends" photos for today (you can click on the pictures to enlarge them, if you'd like) ...

I love the dew drops on the petals of this sasanqua blooming in our courtyard.

You are always such a wonderful moment with my first cup. And the butterflies just took my breath away---the images are so sharp and vivid, they're practically 3-D.

My favorite, though is that contemplative little pond, with the two old seasoned silver posts in the goldy water---it's so perfectly balanced and reflective. I imagined a mirror on a table, and the ladies of the Eastern Star are prinking it up for the luncheon today---they've set down the two epergnes of whisper-grass just so, and the two candlesticks (which must never---no, never---be lit for a daytime function).

Thank you, my dear friend across the miles. These are just wonderful.

I've put away the china, but all the little glass dishes for cranberry and devilled eggs and such are still sitting on the dining table, needing a snug back into their home.

I love the completion of good things---the tidying away and the neat stacking for the promise of next time.

Forgot to say, my favorite is the black and white butterfly on the purple flower. Amazing!

I have been looking at Christmas colors all weekend long that your photos are certainly like a fresh breath of color for me today. Thanks for sharing the colors!
