Summer Trumpets

One of the prettiest and most colorful summer wildflowers is the Trumpet Vine.

Its flowers are truly glorious, and I was delighted to see these up close through my camera lens ...

Isn't God's glory awesome!
And it's everywhere — all we have to do is stop and look at it.

Doncha just love 'em? These say Southern Summer right up there with butterbeans, crape myrtle and
ice cream freezers.
