How Did It Get So Late So Soon?

How did it get so late so soon?
It's night before it's afternoon.
December is here before it's June.
My goodness, how the time has flewn.
How did it get so late so soon?
                                                 -- Dr. Seuss

I wish you a glorious month of June ...
May it be filled with sunshine and roses, and lots of fun memories-in-the-making.

Don't you just love June? It's hot but not as hot as it will be later and everything is so beautiful. :)

Don't you simply LOVE the word FLEWN? And could you not just speak Seussian all day long, some days? I read a story at the supper table on his birthday, and then sort of sing-song/silly- worded away the whole evening.

And, as I said in my last e-mail, these days are fleeting and the little ones are flying through life at such a pace as to catch our breaths and whirl our heads, leave us in awe of the speed.

The house is quiet this morning, as I mused my way through a gospel song at Beverly's, which led to a whole page of Jim Nabors music, and I'll be smiling and singing all the way through this glorious FIRST OF JUNE day. It's 70, and sunshine, and prospect of a little visitor come to stay for the next four days, so things are BRIGHT. I've been needing some bright to report, and this certainly is some.

HAPPY JUNE!!

love and, r
