A Little Bit of Sunshine on a Rainy Day -- Outdoor Wednesday

I'm a fairly new participant in "Outdoor Wednesdays," and would like to thank our gracious hostess Susan at A Southern Daydreamer for inviting us to participate.

I invite you to visit Susan's lovely blog to see more posts featuring the great outdoors.

My Carolina Jasmine is in full bloom and brought a little sunshine to a cool and rainy Tuesday here in Vicksburg. I thought it would be nice to share some of its "sunshine" in this Outdoor Wednesday post ...

[You can click on the pictures to enlarge them, if you'd like]

I was also pleased to see our Loropetalum blooming ...

While I was taking these pictures, I noticed signs of Spring popping out everywhere ... from these pretty blooms to little green leaves fringing my Lady Banks Rose vines on the fence. I'm looking forward to sharing the roses for another "Outdoor Wednesday" soon.

Sincerely,

Carolina Jasmine is one of my very
favorites, but everytime I have planted one we end up moving...so I didn't let myself have one at this house...No more moving! LOL

Dear Janie, Thanks so much for pictures of Avery...I was feeling a little down since Tara was gone, but what a great pick-me-up.
I am relieved to hear that the bracelet fit. Your flower pictures are beautiful. Not much blooming here.
See you soon.

Oh I'm so jealous. I love Carolina Jessamine and haven't had good luck with it here in Oklahoma. Grew up with it in Dallas...boo hoo.

Lovely. We have Carolina Jasmine that got hit so hard this year I don't think it's going to bloom, Janie. We aren't used to this much cold. Yours is lovely...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Well, someone needs to invent a "scratch and smell" computer monitor. The heady aroma of Carolina jasmine is amazing. What beautiful photos you shared today!

All the best, Lana
