The Glory of Sunflowers

I see you there in glory shining bright,
Following the sun and its path of light.*

*From POEM TO A SUNFLOWER, by Katherine R. Lane, April 1995

I find it interesting that sunflowers face the sun at all times throughout the day, starting the day facing east, and ending it facing west.

The giant flower on sunflowers is actually made up of many tiny blooms, and the center of the sunflower, where the seeds develop, is made up of tiny blossoms that bees absolutely love.
