Early Morning Silhouettes

I captured this little hummer this morning as he stopped to rest in the branches of our Lady Banks Rose. I love the way he and the branches were silhouetted against the early morning sky.

Notice his tongue sticking out in this one ...

Beautiful! I've never seen monochromatic photos like this of a hummer -- very dramatic! :)

I am in awe of your photography! I never manage to get a good clear shot of these little ones. The contrast between light and dark is beautiful.

These are beautiful! Such a graceful curve to his body, isn't it?

Incredible shots, Janie. Beautiful.

I asked about Lady Banks for our area and the nursery had never heard of it. Wish we could find one and that it would survive up here.
