Off the Beaten Path

We're supposed to have an abundance of sunshine today, with temperatures ranging from the mid- to upper-fifties, and I'm looking forward to getting out and rambling around the Vicksburg area with my cameras ... just to "see what I can see."

I have a couple of places in mind to explore, but it's no telling where the roads may lead me.

Perhaps they'll take me to MS Hwy. 22, between Edwards and Flora, Mississippi, where I have spent many a happy hour capturing country landscapes like this lake and old barn ...

There are all kinds of little roads that branch off of Hwy. 22, some of which I've explored ... but if I feel especially adventurous, I may take one of the roads I've never traveled, which is always fun. You just never know what you may find off the beaten path ... and that's where I'll be heading today.

I hope you will join me tomorrow to see what I find along the way.

Hi, I'm visiting from Beth's blog, Aunties with Advice. I am intrigued to see you are from Mississippi. My husband's family settled in Adams County. Do you know where that is? Is it near you?

I am currently living in Utah, which is a lovely state, but I will always be a Southern girl at heart.

God bless,
Elizabeth
