For the sake of America, and all it stands for,

Country first! Now that's a concept our politicians have forgotten...maybe they should tattoo it on their foreheads backwards..so every time they look in the mirror they will be reminded of the trust the citizens of this great country have placed in them. May God bless us.

I prayed, I voted on Saturday, and I'm continuing to pray.

I will pray for the winner whether he's my candidate or not because the Lord wants us to pray for our leaders.

Love to you, Janie.

Janie, I almost forgot...

Please tell your daddy for me that I send him special thanks today for his service to our country. We are able to vote today because of the sacrifices of our veterans, and I salute him for his part in that just as I salute and honor all of our country's veterans. God bless them all!

XO,

Sheila

Oh Janie, the story of your parents is such a LOVE STORY. I am fascinated by the devotion of so many of our parents' generation. My own parents have been married 56 years and are such a shining example of what marriage really should be. I too am praying for our country and it's new leader, and am thankful that we are ONE NATION, UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE.
