I love decorating with vines and berries, especially this time of year. I recently found one of the prettiest and most natural looking magnolia garlands I've ever seen, and thought it would be perfect for the top of the Welsh dresser in our breakfast area (you can click on the photos to enlarge them, if you'd like). I added the little goose that lives there year-round and some delicate branches of berries and was very pleased with the look. I'm going to use it like it is for Thanksgiving, then embellish it a little when I do my Christmas decorating. I just love easy decorating projects, don't you! |

It was rather interesting for me to read this post. Thanks for it. I like such themes and anything that is connected to this matter. I definitely want to read more on that blog soon.
looks very nice.....
I just love your welsh dresser to begin with and the magnolia garland is just the crowning touch. :) It's all beautiful. Is your floor stained concrete? I'm not sure that I've ever noticed that. My mom has the same and just loves it.
Oh, Janie, that is a perfect touch for that piece. LOVE it!

Your magnolia garland does look very natural. So pretty on top of the dresser. I am going to attempt to make at least one real magnolia wreath for Christmas. They are so expensive to buy. I have a huge tree so I am going to try to make one. Can't wait to see your Christmas decor!
Janie,
Your welsh dresser is beautiful! The vine is lovely and so natural like you said. Everything looks perfect!
Your home looks so warm and ready for your Thanksgiving guests.
I hope you enjoy a wonderful week getting ready.
Happy Thanksgiving~♥
It looks great! I love those things I can take from Thanksgiving into Christmas!
This looks truly magnificent!
Janie, that looks fabulous! I wish I could find a garland like that. It's perfect! Your goose seems to like it, too.
I finally got back online. I have 100 feet of cord strung across my house from upstairs to down. You don't even want to know. LOL! At least, I can try and get some visiting done.
XO,
Sheila :-)
You have really made your beautiful Welsh dresser look so pretty in it's fall dress. I love what you did on top, on the shelves and especially what is on the bottom. I have a sofa table that has a bottom shelf that needs prettied up for company.
Hi Janie! I love magnolia anything and this is just beautiful! It really really does look natural - the best I've seen also!!! You know I love your style and everything you decorate!!! Happy Thanksgiving!! Sincerely, Jeannette
