David Phelps is best known for singing tenor in the Gaither's Vocal Band. I hope you will take the time to listen to this video presentation featuring David performing "O Holy Night." David truly has a God-given voice, and I think his awe-inspiring rendition of "O Holy Night" will be one of your most uplifting experiences during this Christmas season. I've shared it with my family, and I'm sure I will watch it over and over again during the holidays, as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. |

Awesome! What a good beginning for my day! I will go back time and again to your blog to listen to this magnificent rendition of O Holy Night, which is probably my all time favorite Christmas song! Thanks!
I cry every time I hear him sing. He is awesome. The only other male vocalist that sings this song as well was a man we heard years and years ago at a tiny country church where I went with my professors to play the part of Mary in their Christmas pageant. The church was so tiny they imported some of their speech students to play the parts of Mary and Joseph. Mr. Magpie went along on a lark. Anyhow, the man stood up, opened his mouth, and blew us all away. He sang with a gospel group, and it's like with David Phelps, the Lord just touched his voice mightily.
I have a blogging friend named Anita whose link is on my sidebar (Greater Than Rubies) who is the music minister at her church. There is a video she did of her singing this on a TV station in NC. You ought to go hear her, Janie. You won't believe her voice.
What a blessing this was on a Monday morning!
Thanks...
XO,
Sheila
Janie, the blog is Far Above Rubies. That's it. I was mistaken on the other. It's linked on my sidebar. xo
when I open your blog, I was interested to read your writing christmas related. although I did not recognize you, but, when I remember the day and listen to the song of christmas, my heart began to touch by the spirit of christmas and my love for christmas began more deeper. I am a new person in the blog .... so I really want to become a member of your blog but I do not know how.
