Shadow of a Cross

This is my first time to participate in Shadow Shot Sunday, which is hosted by Tracy from Australia. You can visit Tracy at her lovely blog called Hey, Harriet!.

I'd like to share this picture of the shadow of an iron fence on the stone path leading from our courtyard to our back yard.

I love the shadow of the fleur de lis design and the way it resembles a cross.

Thank you, Harriet, for giving us the opportunity to share our pictures. I look forward to visiting the other participants to see their entries today.

Why don't we look at the intricate message of shadows more?

That cross, the spire---both pointing to Heaven. Just lovely.

Yes, the fleur de lis is an impressive motif!

I've always though that shadows had an 'other worldly' sense about them. They are just a second image of the true image. There, but not quite, in definition and clarity. Loved this!
