Thank you, Lord —
for one of Life's most precious blessings ...

For the Love of a Grandchild
(author unknown)

Child of my heart, heart of my heart,
Your smile bridges the years between us.

I am young again,
Discovering the world through your eyes.

You have the time to listen,
And I have the time to spend.

Delighted to gaze at familiar, loved features,
Made new in you again.

Through you, I'll see the future,
Through me, you'll know the past.

In the present we'll love one other,
As long as these moments last.

Exactly. Blessings beyond measure--and they're growing up too fast.

I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful.

I can't imagine our lives without them! I got to spend yesterday with all 4 of ours at the Iron Bowl in Auburn, and yes, they do grow up way too fast.

Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful!

Oh.My.Goodness! Those children are beautiful! I Knew that Avery was, having seen her on the blog before...but Maddox...what a beautiful baby!

And, these pictures show them in such a soft and dreamy way...I'm sure you planned just adds to their sweetness.

And, love the poem. Precious words. Precious blessings!
