I'd like to share a brief slideshow of some of my best attempts to capture our hummingbirds with my camera. I love to watch these little guys as they zoom and swoop around the feeder, and by summer's end, I find that I've really become attached to them.
Be sure and turn your sound up before you click on "Play," if you'd like to hear the music.

Janie,
If there's a more charming way to begin a morning, I don't know what it could be.
Birds and Beethoven!!! What a combination.
If you'd never picked up your camera before or since, this would be enough. And the little fellow who just sits and regards you---that's a magical thing, reserved only for the most special people.
Good Morning Janie! I bow to your picture taking skills. Each time I visit here I'm overwhelmed by the beauty. Honestly!
Do you take Birds and Blooms magazine? You could be a photographer for them.
Oh, I love the hooked beak on that one hummingbird. I'm not sure that we have that particular bird here. Our trumpet vines are just covered in blooms and we have many hummers buzzing around. It's so much fun. We've seen teeny tiny ones and some that are larger than I recall seeing in the past.
Happy Wednesday.
Stacey
My friend, That is phenomenal! Aren't they just the most beautiful creatures? These pictures are a treasure!
This is beautiful, Janie!
Can you tell me which lens you use?
Your photos were precious of these beautiful birds.
They made me think I need to spend more time out on our patio... and watch for ours to come...yet I wouldn't have your wonderful skills of capturing the moment.. I love visiting your home:)
These photos were so beautiful, Janie. You've captured something very special.

Janie, You never disappoint me with your photography skills, this is amazing. I also am a fan of the little hummingbirds, I love to just watch them on the patio.
Thanks for sharing yours.
Happy Thursday and have a great weekend.
