You are so talented. I loved the show. All my ancestors wer born in the South. All four of my great-grandfathers fought in the Civil War. One is buried in Tennessee. Dixie was one of them's favorite songs. After the war and losing everything, they migrated to Texas. I grew up singing Dixie. Our oldest son lived in South Carolina for a while. We loved visiting there and passing through the Southern states. We have a little grandaughter in Louisiana now. Mississippi was home to one side of the family. I so appreciate your blog - the photographs are wonderful and the music adds such a sweet spirit.

You are amazing! I could see the photographs, but something is wrong with my sound so I just hummed in my head!

I sent this to my Sis, who is dealing with water damage in her house---she's so down about it and said that this really brightened her morning.
Beautiful! My cup overfloweth with "Southern Lagniappe" :)
