The Eternal Wisdom of Ronald Reagan ...

In light of the political turmoil engulfing our country today, I found these quotes from former President Ronald Reagan to be very timely ...

"Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."

then we will be a nation gone under."

We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done."

May God grant us all the wisdom to choose the candidate for President who will remember and take to heart these words of wisdom from one of the greatest and most admired leaders in our country's history, and ... May God continue to Bless our Beloved America.

I pray that our country will make the right choice.

Morning Janie! Not only timely but absolutely words we need to live by more than ever!!!! People are still not getting it! I was in Kohls yesterday and they ask me to open credit card - I say I'm surprised you are still asking that and she says people are opening them more than ever before. I say thats part of our problems she says "O no its just the administration!" I really am nervous for the first time in my life. I've been watching Glen Beck and think I should stop doing that before I go to bed!lol No wonder I'm not getting enough sleep! Sorry I'm babbling - Great Post!!! Take care - Jeannette

Gosh I was sure I commented on this one. I loved Reagan....I wish we could clone him and put him back in the White House..he could sure teach these two yahoos a thing or two about personal responsibility and how to run a country somewhere besides into the ground!

If only we had a man like Ronald Reagan running in this election. I am very worried about our country.

Great presidents come from both parties and hopefully one day there will be even more choices than the 2 we are stuck with.

This is probably one of the most important elections in my lifetime and I do hope my guy will win, but if he doesn't, the world will not end on November 5th. We are more resilient than that. It will be ok, we will be ok.

Ronald Reagan is my all time favorite president. I was so very sad when he died and I cried watching his funeral. I even sent an email to Nancy and her secretary wrote me back.
