To every thing there is a season, and springtime is the season of celebrations and parties ... graduation parties, bridal showers, wedding receptions, baby showers, family reunions.
And, of course, parties go hand in hand with food and drink. If you have an upcoming party on your calendar and need a punch recipe, you might consider this one. I think it's perfect for any occasion -- it's delicious, looks pretty, and is easy to make -- what more could you ask?
Bring to boil:
1 3-oz Package Apricot Jello
1-1/2 Cups Sugar
2 Cups Hot Water
Add:
2 Cups Ice Water
Large Can Pineapple Juice
1/2-oz Almond Extract
Chill.
To serve: Add 1 Quart Ginger Ale
~ Makes One Gallon

I've never tried it with apricot Jello! Sounds yummy. Let's see...believe I have a shower coming up(;
That sounds wonderful! I'll have to file that one to use sometime. I'd imagine the apricot gives it quite an interesting flavor.

This is always such a hit at parties. I also use orange sherbet and ginger ale, too, for a quick and easy punch.
